FAQ about Responsabilities

1. What is my responsibility regarding the ICE’s CPE and Splitter equipment?

The client will have custody of the provided equipment, which must be returned to the ICE at the time the ICE requires it for updating, maintenance, and repair or contract termination. Similarly, the CLIENT will be responsible for the state of conservation of said equipment, and must replace it at the cost in which it was acquired by the ICE, in cases of damage, loss, theft, mishandling or repairs made by non-ICE personnel.

2. What are the ICE’s responsibilities when the CPE belongs to the client?

  • Installation, programming of the CPE and Splitter when the client requests this.
  • Configuration of the computer when the client so requests.
  • Provide and configure the email account, username and password.
  • An ICE technician must visit the customer to do the corresponding tests and deliver the IP addresses, even if the installation is handled by a third party.
  • Invoice the service with updated fees.
  • Troubleshooting of the terminal equipment will be limited to the configuration parameters (IP address, Gateway, Mask, DNS), in the case of the PC, verification of the activation of the DHCP protocol.

3. What are my responsibilities when the CPE and Splitter are my property?
